The hotel was clean and nice. We were woken up at 2 am by some loud neighbors but the front desk was receptive to helping with that.

The Aspen Select appears to be the more average version of the fancier Aspen Suites, which is right next door. Both are directly across the street from St. Mary’s Hospital, which is very convenient. The front desk staff were pleasant, and there is a nice variety for breakfast. What I did not like is that it was very warm on my floor (3rd) and in my room, in mid November. My room stayed at 77° the whole time I was there, which made sleeping difficult, and I think the hallway had to be 85. There was a thermostat in my room, but it was turned to 69°. I inquired at the desk about it and was told they could give me a fan, but they had no way of controlling it because it was a boiler heating system. Other than that, my room was comfortable and clean.

Staff was great as usual, the room was clean but had a few missed areas. I had a VERY loud person across the hall and I had to call security twice. They handled it well.
